Bahrain Mirror: Sayed Abdullah Al-Ghuraifi warned that the "Ibrahimism" slogan related to the normalizing "Abraham Accords" with the Zionist occupation entity, is "a slogan that internalizes goals that have nothing to do with the rapprochement of religions" but rather "goals engineered in the factories of politics", calling for "consolidating all forms of separation with the Zionists of this era."
Sayed Al-Ghuraifi said on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at a ceremony held at the Imam Sadiq (pbuh) Mosque in Diraz, marking the birth of Imam Mahdi (AJ), "The Ibrahimism slogan that is promoted these days is a slogan that internalizes the goals that have nothing to do with the rapprochement of religions" but rather "goals engineered in the factories of politics."
Stressing that he doesn't reject "any rapprochement between the heavenly religions," he pointed out that "when rapprochement is one of the products of political agendas in this era, these agendas that are full of evil and tampering with the interests of peoples, here we must beware of any slogan, even when it reflects religious themes."
"We are not advocates of extremism or terrorism, and we are not makers of violence and destruction. We are advocates of love, tolerance, unity and harmony. We are sons of religion and guards of the homeland," he declared. "We are required to be the guardians of the homeland and we are the custodians of the homeland in consolidating all forms of separation with the Zionists of this era."
He went on to say that the extension of Zionists in any form, whatever the titles and justifications are, is destructive to all our values, morals, homelands, peoples, security, and peace. Al-Ghuraifi called for "compassion for homelands and its peoples."
Sayed Al-Ghuraifi stressed that "our Islamic nation, with all its religious and national affiliations, has no choice but to reject all paths of normalization with a usurper of the land of Palestine, a desecrator of our holy Jerusalem that is drenched in the blood of an oppressed people".
He wondered, "How hearts can converge, hands intertwine, and smiles embrace such people."
