BCHR Concerned about Serbia's Extradition of Dissident Ahmed Jaafar to Bahrain

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Center for Human Rights expressed deep concern about the Serbian government's extradition of Bahraini dissident Ahmed Jaafar to Bahrain.
"Tens of political prisoners are being released some of which were locked for almost 10 years behind prison bars, good news!" said the BCHR via its official Twitter account on Wednesday (January 26, 2022).
We are "quite concerned about Ahmed Jaafer, who's been handed to Bahrain, by Serbia through the Interpol despite ECHR interdiction," it added.
The European Court of Human Rights had banned the extradition of dissident Ahmed Jaafar to Bahrain until the Serbian government presented its own evidence, but a Serbian court in the capital Belgrade decided to proceed with his extradition, ignoring the European Court's decision.
