Peaceful Protests in Bahrain Demanding Release of Political Prisoners

Bahrain Mirror: Dozens of Sanabis residents took to the streets on Friday evening to demand the release of political prisoners.
Participants held banners demanding the immediate release of their detained children, who were arrested over charges related to freedom of opinion and expression, and chanted slogans calling for setting them free.
Among the slogans were "It is shame to remain silent and our prisoner may die", and "Release our detained children". They also held photos of their detained children.
Protestors also held photos for Haq Movement leader, Hassan Mushaima, one of the most prominent political detainees, who is suffering in the prisons of the Bahraini regime, as well as Abduljalil Al-Singace, an activist and human rights defender
European parliamentarians pressured their governments on Bahrain's human rights file and abuses practiced by authorities in Manama against dissidents and activists.
Earlier, members of the European Parliament submitted a written question to the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, demanding to start an investigation and take urgent action to address the dire conditions of political detainees in Bahraini prisons, and highlight the abuses they are being subjected to.
