Mutual Recognition of COVID-19 Vaccination Programs to Facilitate Travel between Israeli Entity and Bahrain

Bahrain Mirror: The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday (April 22, 2021) that Israel and Bahrain have signed an agreement to recognize each other's COVID-19 vaccinations and to allow those who received vaccine doses to travel without restrictions between the two countries.
The ministry said that this measure will help boost tourism, trade and economic relations between both countries after the signing of a US-brokered agreement to normalize relations between them last year.
A large sector of the Israeli economy is active thanks to a rapid vaccination campaign, while maintaining tight restrictions on travelers coming into the country.
The ministry did not provide details on the starting date of this new arrangement with Bahrain, but said it would reach similar agreements with other countries soon.
