Bahrain Mirror: Two MPs said that the Trade Minister promised them to reconsider the issue of virtual record through which fees are charged on entrepreneurs and services via social media outlets.

The two MPs, Hamad Al-Kooheji and Zainab Abdul Amir, met Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Zayed Al-Zayani.

Abdul Amir said that she handed over a petition to the minister on behalf of electronic projects affected by the (Sijili) resolution, and explained that the minister promised to study possible options to protect the entrepreneurs and not to harm them, noting that one option is that (Sijili) program becomes an optional for those who wish to join.

Minister Al-Zayani said the ministry will spare no effort to improve the national economy and support small and medium-sized enterprises and creative projects. He added that the ministry will study the options and proposals submitted by the two MPs.
