Bahrain Reaffirms Support for Saudi Arabia after Intelligence Report on Jamal Khashoggi Murder

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain expressed its support for the statement of the Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the report that was provided to the US Congress on the murder crime of Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi.
In a statement, Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the importance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's fundamental role, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince, its policy of moderation on the regional, Arab and international levels, and the efforts it exerts in strengthening regional security and stability as well as the Global economic growth. Bahrain also expressed its rejection of everything that prejudice the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi foreign ministry issued a statement on Friday in which it completely rejected the report that was provided to the US Congress on the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.
"The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia completely rejects the negative, false and unacceptable assessment in the report pertaining to the Kingdom's leadership, and notes that the report contained inaccurate information and conclusions," the ministry said.
A declassified report from the US intelligence community on the 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi says Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman approved the operation to capture or kill him.
