US Secretary of State Visits Bahrain to Meet Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa

Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo will travel to Bahrain to meet the Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, within a tour in the region that includes Sudan, the Emirates and Israel, a statement issued the US Department of State said.
According to the statement, the visit will be between August 23-23. Pompeo will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss regional security issues, in addition to Abdel Fattah El-Burhan in Sudan to discuss continued support for the Sudanese transitional government. He will conclude his trip in the United Arab Emirates, where he will meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi to discuss the Israeli-Emirati agreement.
The statement didn't mention the topics Pompeo will discuss with the Bahraini Crown Prince. However, US media outlets reported that Pompeo's visit to Sudan and Bahrain aims at urging them to normalize relations with Israel like the Emirates.
