King of Bahrain Supports UAE Normalization with Israel, Claims It "Serves Aspirations of People of the Region"

Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa made a phone call on (August 14, 2020) with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in which he congratulated Al Nahyan on the historic peace step taken by the UAE towards Israel, stressing that it will contribute to strengthening peace and boosting stability in the Middle East in a way that serves that aspiration of its people for security, progress and prosperity.
The King praised the agreement between the UAE, the U.S. and Israel that allowed the stopping of the Israeli decision to annex Palestinian territories, describing it as a historic diplomatic achievement that will preserve the two-state solution and maintains the opportunities for peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
King Hamad commended the UAE's honorable stances in defending the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations, principally the Palestinian cause.
