Why's the Alternative Penalty Law Suddenly Supported by All of these People?

Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): What is the reason behind the sudden awakening of government writers who started expressing in the media about their support for the Alternative Penalty Law?

We don't have answers, so we will only raise questions.

Are Saeed Al-Hamad or the governor of Al-Muharraq governorate speaking on their own behalf?

Are Ahmed Zaman, Farid Ghazi, Farid Hassan or Malullah Al-Hammad, NIHR member, or the three identical government newscasts, Al-Watan, Al-Ayyam and Akhbar Al-Khaleej speaking on their own behalf? Or did someone direct them to do so?

Has mercy suddenly appeared in people who were demanding that more dissidents be imprisoned? Have they become advocates of peace and forgiveness, and lecturers on the importance of giving prisoners a chance, or is there something hidden?

Is Bahrain responding to the growing popular mood calling for the release of more prisoners through this?

Did they smell something, so they wanted to ride the wave and make early moves?

Does the rivalry of the ruling wings have anything to do with it, or is it just a coincidence that gathered a bunch of puppets on a current subject?

But why did these coincidences happen now?

It has been 3 years since the king ratified the Penal Code and Alternative Penalty Law of 2017. According to official data, some 2,700 criminal prisoners and a few politicians benefited from this law. Why did these people suddenly appear now?

Do they know something we don't know?

Who would they like to please?

Has the positive domestic and international reception of the release of human rights activist Nabeel Rajab moved a file that the authorities have always ignored?

Did Nabeel Rajab's positivity stir static waters, ease fears and reduce tensions?

Is the positive climate for alternative punishments an introduction or just a cover for another negative climate that would pass the ratification of political executions?

Is it intended to mix this with that as they slip poison into honey?

We do not know the answer to any of the above questions, that's why we are only raising questions.
