Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Amnesty International of obtaining its information from biased sources and predisposed news channels, describing the information mentioned in its latest report as incorrect.

The ministry said in a statement "Bahrain has deplored the incorrect information and falsehoods in the report issued by Amnesty International, stressing that it was not based on facts or evidence and that it lacked the standards of professionalism and objectivity required in human rights reports."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the report relied on information obtained from biased sources and predisposed news channels, known for extremism, prejudice and lack of credibility.

"Whilst the ministry affirms that it will study the allegations and respond to them accordingly, it stresses that it looks forward to the organization issuing balanced reports, not relying on sources with single opinions, and drawing its information from all concerned authorities and institutions that have not been contacted to ensure its reports are objective, neutral, non-selective and unbiased," the ministry said.
