Bahrain Int'l Airport Runway Opened after One Hour of Closure due to Oil Leakage from Plane

Bahrain Mirror: The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications announced the closure of Bahrain airport runway for air safety reasons for about an hour on Tuesday (August 13, 2019) night, due to an oil leak from a plane. A number of flights were diverted to Dammam Airport as a result.
The ministry said in a statement that the competent authorities at the airport began cleaning the runway and reopened it at 5:44 p.m. It announced that normal operations at the Bahrain International Airport were resumed.
Activists on social media outlets said that the oil leaked from an Emirates plane due to a technical glitch.
