Bahrain Mirror: Opposition groups and activists announced the death of youth Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Moqdad from Bilad Al-Qadeem after the brutal crackdown led by civilian militias accompanied by members of the security forces on Saturday.

Zahra Al-Hayiki, Al-Moqdad's mother, said that her son was not suffering from any medical condition and was rather a healthy young man.

Eyewitnesses from Bilad Al-Qadeem confirmed that Al-Moqdad was one of the participants in a peaceful demonstration, held yesterday evening to protest against the crime of executing Ahmad Al-Malali and Ali Al-Arab, but the march was cracked down on by security forces. The police flooded the area with toxic tear gas. Mohammed Al-Moqdad walked away from the area after the smell of suffocating gas intensified, but later fell unconscious due to the impact of these gases, and witnesses testify that fatigue was apparent on Al-Moqdad after tear gas canisters were fired at demonstrators. For its part, February 14 Youth Coalition said that the Al-Moqdad was transferred to the hospital after inhaling quantities of toxic gas that was fired to suppress the demonstrations that came out in protest against the crime of executing two youths Ahmad Al-Malali and Ali Al-Arab.

The Ministry of Interior was quick to deny its involvement in the matter, and mentioned in a tweet that the Capital police said in response to what was being circulated about the death of a 22-year-old man in Salmaniya Medical Complex that the death was due to natural causes according to the medical report and was not a suspicious death.

Eyewitnesses confirm that the gases were spreading in the area and that the young man was trying to move as far away as possible from where the gas was concentrated in residential neighborhoods in Bilad Al-Qadeem, before he fell on the ground and was transferred to the hospital in a private car, after the delay of the ambulance since security forces besieged the entrances of village.

Mohammed Al-Moqdad is political prisoner Hussein Al-Moqdad's brother.
