Bahrain Mirror: A member of the House of Representatives, Kulthum Al-Hayiki, called for conducting a review of the law, which deprives members of dissolved political societies (opposition) of running for parliamentary elections.
She said in a press interview that in the next session, she will seek to "amend the bylaws of the House of Representatives, review the law that has deprived members of the dissolved political societies of the right to run and elect, and I will ask a parliamentary question to the Minister of Justice."
She explained that the revision of the house's bylaws is aimed at "activating the questioning tool", which had become constrained by the legislation approved by the previous council.
