Trial of Ibrahim Sharif on Charges of Insulting Sudanese President Adjourned until March 13 for Ruling

Bahrain Mirror: The first minor criminal court adjourned trial of prominent dissident Ibrahim Sharif, over which he is accused of insulting Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir, until March 13 for ruling.
The Public Prosecution received a notice stating that former Secretary-General of a dissolved society published tweets on social media outlets including abuse to the Sudanese President and state authorities.
Sharif denied the charge and said he published a tweet containing criticism to Sudanese President due to the incidents taking place in his country, stressing that he did not intend to insult or offend the Sudanese president.
