PM Restructures Supreme Council for Development of Education

Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa issued Edict 1/2019 restructuring the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training.
The edict stipulated the reformation of the Council pursuant to Edict 3/2015 regarding the formation of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training, and upon a presentation from the Deputy Premier Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.
Under the edict, Deputy Premier Mohammed bin Mubarak will be the President of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training.
The Minister of Education, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, the Minister of Labour and Social Development, the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Board Chairman of the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA), Board Chairman of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), the CEO of the Information and e-Government Authority, and the Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be the members of the Council for a four-year renewable term.
The President of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training has been tasked to implement this edict which shall have immediate effect, and be published in the Official Gazette.
