Father of Martyr Sayed Hashim and Others Arrested to Serve 1-Year Prison Sentence

Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini authorities arrested the father of martyr Sayed Hashim, Haj Ali Hammam, Abdullah Al-Muallem and Ibrahim Hilal on Tuesday (February 5, 2019) from the courtroom to serve a prison sentence between six months and one year.
The appeals court adjourned the case until February 18.
In a tweet posted on his page, human rights activist Adel Al-Marzouq said that in a phone call from the father of martyr Sayed Hashim, he told him about the court's decision to detain him and others to serve a prison sentence on charges of assembly in the Karana rally case.
Interior Ministry forces have arrested the father of martyr Sayed Hashim and eight others during a peaceful demonstration in the Karana area before being released.
