Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain hailed the US Senate's rejection of a bill to halt its arms sales to the Kingdom of Bahrain because of its participation in the Saudi-led coalition in the war on Yemen.
The Bahraini Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the vote fully reflects complete harmony with "the nature of the historic and strong relations between Bahrain and the United States and the strategic partnership between the two friendly countries of diversity and development that serves the interests of both countries and the security of the region."
The Foreign Ministry deemed the vote "a positive position in support of security in Bahrain as well as the US policy in committing to the security of the Arab Gulf."
