Bahrain Mirror: Americans for Democracy & Human Rights in Bahrain (ADHRB) strongly condemned the ruling issued on Sunday (November 4, 2018) sentencing Al-Wefaq Secretary-General Sheikh Ali Salman and former 2 MPs, Sheikh Hasan Sultan and Ali Al-Aswad, to life in prison.
ADHRB indicated that the regime's courts proceed in their human rights violations due to the great support they receive from their allies, US and UK.
ADHRB Executive Director Husain Abdulla already stressed that it is clear that the court's decision to target Sheikh Ali Salman with fabricated charges came in order to silence the opposition voice before elections.
He further stated that it is not accepted that the Bahraini government continues to target opposition leaders for expressing their political opinions, calling on the international community to pressure on Bahrain to release Sheikh Ali Salman and all other prisoners of conscience and to restore the arbitrary dissolved political societies.
