Bahrain Mirror: The director of the Bahrain Institute for Rights and Democracy (BIRD), activist Sayed Ahmed Alwadaei, said the political detainee, Madeen Ali, suffered a health setback at the Isa Town Women's Prison.
"Madeena Ali suffers from stomach pains due to the poor quality of food provided," said Alwadaei, via his Twitter account on Friday (April 6, 2018). "She is only eating biscuits because her stomach did not tolerate the bad food provided by the prison administration. She also suffers from headaches," he added.
A few days ago, the authorities transferred Madeena Ali to the hospital because of heart problems, said Activist Ebtisam Al-Sayegh.
