Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Tweeter Yousef Al-Jamri said he received a phone call on Saturday (5 August 2017) from the Office of the Inspector-General at the National Security Apparatus (NSA), Mohammed Rashid Al-Rumaihi, asking him to appear and file a complaint against his torturers at the NSA compound.
Al-Jamri confirmed that he was heading to the Office of the Inspector-General to lodge a complaint.
Al-Jamri revealed that he had been subjected to torture and degrading treatment during his presence in the NSA compound, where members of the security body insulted his family, his Shiite faith and the Supreme Shiite authority Ayatollah Ali Al-Sistani, also threatening him with rape and warning him of more torture if he revealed to anyone what he was subjected to. They also told him that no one can stop them.
Al-Jamri refused to appear at the NSA based on requests made over multiple phone calls later on, calling on the King of Bahrain to intervene to protect him and his family from them.
