Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Minister of Labor and Social Development Jamil bin Mohammad Ali Humaidan, headed the Bahraini delegation in the 106th Session of the International Labor Conference in Geneva, taking place from 4 until 16 June.
The Bahrain delegation includes the official delegation of business owners, represented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the governmental free trade unions. This comes in light of the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Union's (GFBTU) absence. The GFBTU is officially recognized by the International Labor Organization. The Bahraini authorities banned the GFBTU delegation from leaving the country to Geneva last week.
