Geneva: Estonia Frustrated over Travel Ban on Activists including Sayed Hadi al-Moussawi

Bahrain Mirror - Exclusive: Estonia expressed great frustration over the travel ban the Bahrain imposed on human rights activists, including Sayed Hadi al-Moussawi.
In its intervention on Monday (May 1, 2017) during the 27th UPR session in Geneva on Bahrain's human rights record, Estonia said that Bahrain did not implement all the UN Human Rights Council recommendations in previous cycles. It called on Bahrain to immediately halt reprisal practices against human rights defenders, and to lift all restrictions imposed on civil societies.
Estonia expressed regrets over death penalties, and urged Bahrain to ratify the Convention against Torture, and the First and Second Protocol of the International Covenant on Human Rights.
