Bahrain Mirror: Sheikh Abdullah Al-Daqaq, prominent Bahraini cleric and director of Hawza in Iranian City of Qom, commented on the verdict issued by a Bahraini court, sentencing him along with 2 others to 10 years in prison and revoking their citizenship. He stressed that the decision was based on "a vexatious and void trial." "I don't recognize it," he added. "This trial targets everyone who demands legitimate and just rights for our oppressed people in Bahrain, in particular the ones who defend Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim."

Sheikh Al-Daqaq's statement read the following: The political observer is aware of the regime's escalation and flops caused nowadays.

My trial and revocation of citizenship comes in this context. It is a vexatious and void trial that I don't recognize. This trial targets everyone who demands legitimate and just rights for our oppressed people in Bahrain, in particular the ones who defend Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.

The indigenous citizen needs no papers to prove his citizenship; however, strangers and intruders who came to our country and abused its resources and riches and oppressed its people need them.

Stripping me of my citizenship made me more determined to proceed in this path to achieve all the legitimate and just demands until achieving victory. No right can be lost if there's someone demanding it. God is the Arbiter of Success. Allah said (and incumbent upon us was support of the believers), God Almighty has spoken the truth.
