Commander-in-Chief of BDF Receives Commander of Joint Peninsula Shield Forces

Bahrain Mirror: Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received in his office on Monday (November 28, 2016) in the presence of the BDF Chief of Staff Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, the Commander of the Joint Peninsula Shield Forces (JPSF) Hassan bin Hamza Al-Shehri.
The commander-in-chief lauded the efforts exerted by the Joint Peninsula Shield Forces in consolidating the common goal and destiny bonding countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
It is to mention the Joint Peninsula Shield Forces (Emirati and Saudi forces) entered Bahrain in March 2011 to crush the pro-democracy protests, leaving dozens dead, hundreds injured and thousands imprisoned.
