Official Decision to Stop Measures of Selling Al-Wefaq Movables

Bahrain Mirror: The Al-Wasat newspaper said that the government issued an official decision to stop the measures of the auction that was going to be held on (November 6, 2016). Al-Wefaq headquarters movables in Al-Zinj, Karana and Al-Malikiya were supposed to be sold in the auction.
The Execution Court announced on Friday (October 26, 2016) the sale of the three headquarters' movables and published an ad about this in the official gazette. The auction was postponed until November 6 and then a decision to stop the auction measures was issued without mentioning any reasons.
The reasons behind the auction suspension were not revealed despite publishing an ad about the details of the auction in one of the newspapers.
The Second High Civil Appeals Court approved on (September 22, 2016), the First Instance Court's ruling to dissolve al-Wefaq Society, liquidate its assets, and close its headquarters.
Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society challenged on Sunday (October 30, 2016) the verdict issued against it, demanding its overturn.
