Court Gives Chance for Pleading Al-Halwachi’s Case Instead of Issuing Verdict against him

Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court adjourned the case of activist Khalil Al-Halwachi until November 27 to call the attesting witnesses.
The court was supposed to issue its verdict in Al-Halwachi's case on October 31, 2016, however, it adjourned it for pleading.
This is the second time the court postpones Al-Halwachi's verdict, as it had to issue the verdict against him on (October 22, 2016) but delayed it due to "judge's travel".
It is mention that Al-Halwachi (59 years) was arrested on September 3, 2014 and that he spent more than 2 years in prison before a judicial verdict was issued against him, which prompted condemnation from some human rights organizations.
