Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini court of appeals commuted the sentence of 17 appellants from 3 to 2 years in prison over charges of assembling and acquiring Molotov. Meanwhile, it rejected the appeals of two others.
The high criminal court convicted 22 suspects in the case, whose ages range between 15 and 26 years, and sentenced them to 3 years in prison.
The authorities claim that about 150 citizens staged a protest on (December 1, 2014) in Sitra and that two policemen were injured while dealing with the protestors. The authorities say that they reached the suspects through "confidential sources".
