Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Al-Sistani Phone Calls Ayatollah Qassim, Stresses Such Abuse Does Not Harm

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's leading Shia cleric Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, who was recently stripped of his nationality, received a direct phone call from the head of the Shia seminary (Hawza ʻIlmiyya) in Iraq's Najaf Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Al-Sistani, Wednesday night (June 22, 2016).
Grand Ayatollah Al-Sistani stressed that "such abuse does not harm" the status of Ayatollah Qassim, in reference to the regime's outrageous offence against him. Al-Sistani then thanked Ayatollah Qassim for his big efforts in defending the rights of the Bahraini people through a peaceful approach.
Sayyed Al-Sistani further expressed his great affection towards Ayatollah Qassim, and mentioned that he has a special place in his heart.
Concluding his phone call, the top Iraqi cleric told Sheikh Qassem that he will do what he can to serve and defend this cause.
