MoI: 6 out of 17 Detainees who Escaped Dry Dock Prison still Free

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Ministry of Interior said that 6 out of the 17 detainees who escaped the pre-trial detention in Dry Dock Prison are still free. The security bodies caught 11 of the fugitives and search continues for the remaining escapees.
The Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa chaired on Saturday (June 4, 2016) a security meeting to review the circumstances of the escape of 17 detainees from the Dry Dock Detention Center and take necessary legal measures in this regard.
The ministry added in a statement that "the minister was presented with a report by the Interior Ministry Undersecretary detailing the escape that took place at 8:45 am on Friday June 3. The report also highlighted security efforts that have been intensified on all levels to arrest the fugitives."
"Thus far, eleven of the detainees have been caught along with five others who assisted in the planning and execution of the escape. The search continues for the remaining six escapees," it continued.
