Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities blocked on Wednesday (February 10, 2015) a number of main entrances leading to Al-Budai Street in the Al-Diraz area with cement barriers.
This step comes as the fifth anniversary of February 14 uprising, which erupted in 2011 demanding democracy and putting an end to the Al Khalifa family's monopoly over power, approaches.
The Bahraini Ministry of Interior warned on Tuesday (February 9, 2016) that it will take "security measures" against protests to be held on the weekend.
The revolutionary forces have already called for protests under the slogan of "Al-Nimr Rebellion" and urged people to not attend jobs, close shops and join protests.
