Two Arms Possession Convicts in Adel Flaifel Case Turn themselves In

Bahrain Mirror: Two Suspects, convicted in the case of Adel Flaifel over arms and ammunition possession, turned themselves in to a Bahrain court on Tuesday (February 9, 2016). The court of first instance has sentenced them to 3 years in prison and a 500 BD fine.
The Court of Appeals looked into the first appeals hearing of the case on Tuesday (February 9, 2016) in which the former Bahraini Interior Ministry colonel Adel Flaifel is involved and sentenced to 10 years in prison, and decided to adjourn the case until March 27, 2016 to collect the case files.
The Court of First Instance had sentenced the former Bahraini Interior Ministry colonel Adel Flaifel to 10 years in prison after convicting him of having possession of various arms and ammunition without licence, also fining him 500 BD. The court sentenced seven suspects in the same case as well to 3 years in prison on the same charges with each fined 500 BD and ordered the confiscation of the seized weapons.
