Armenian Authorities Release Detainee Fadhel Abbas Who Was Arrested upon Bahrain’s Request

Bahrain Mirror: Confirmed information stated that the Armenian authorities released Bahraini national Fadhel Abbas who was arrested and detained on the onset of 2016 upon Bahrain's request to the Interpol.
The information said that Abbas arrived in the Iranian city of Qom and will head to Mashhad.
Russia Today had revealed that security forces in Armenia arrested a Bahrain from the capital's airport, adding that he was "accused by the authorities in his country of terrorism."
In a statement issued by Armenian police on Saturday (January 2, 2016), they said that the Bahraini detainee "face charges in his country of attempted murder and illegal possession of explosives, causing damage to private and public properties in addition to terrorism charges."
Ten human rights organizations have called on the Armenian authorities to release Abbas who is sentenced to seven years in prison over political issues.
