BHRS: 27 Arbitrary Arrests & 32 Peaceful Protests in Third Week of November

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Human Rights Society (BHRS) said that it monitored 27 arbitrary arrests and 6 house raids in the Bahraini villages of Al-Diraz, Sitra, Buri and Al-Zinj within the third week of November 2015.
It added in a statement that the 32 peaceful protests were staged in "Al-Musalla, Eskan Jidhafs, Al-Daih, Shahrakan, Sadad, Karzakan, Al-Dair, Sitra, Al-Ma'ameer, A'ali, Abu Saiba, Shakura, Al-Malikiyah, Nuwaidrat, Al-Sanabis, Juffair, Al-Diraz, Southern Sehla, Buri, Al-Hajar, Al-Markh and Bilad Al-Qadeem.
It also said that 9 solidarity sit-ins were held in "Al-Dair, Abu Saiba, Shakura, Al-Diraz, Al-Maqsha, Al-Markh, Karana, A'ali and Hamad Town."
BHRS further stated that it recorded more than 9 cases of collective punishment within the last week. during which the security forces used tear gas, shotgun pellets and sound grenades. These cases took place in "Sitra, Nuwaidrat, Abu Saiba, Al-Daih, Al-Nabih Saleh and Saar.
The society added that it monitored one security checkpoint in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
