BCHR: 25 Arrests within Third Week of November

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) said that the Bahraini authorities arrested 25 citizens within the third week of November 2015. Nine of them were later released.
BCHR further stated in a statistical report that, in the period between 16 to 22 of November, 16 citizens were sentenced to 88 years in prison over cases of political backgrounds. The authorities also adjourned the trials of 10 others.
It concluded its statement by saying that "the Bahraini courts upheld 6 year prison terms issued against 10 citizens and a death penalty against two others who said they were tortured to make confessions."
