Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court sentenced 6 protestors on Thursday (November 19, 2015) to 15 years in prison. The court accused them of setting fire to a municipality building in the Bahraini village of Jidhafs. The protestors; however, denied this charge.

The six accused said that they were tortured to make confessions that incriminate them. The court refused to meet the demands of the defence panel to refute these confessions.

Chief of Bahrain's Terror Crime Prosecution Ahmed Al-Hammadi said that the Public Prosecution based its charges on the anecdotal evidence including prosecution witnesses' statements to convict the suspects.
