Bahrain Mirror: The Kingdom of Bahrain rejected the joint statement signed by 33 states at the 30th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council which kicked off on Monday (September 14, 2015) in Geneva.

Bahrain called on the countries supporting the statement "to seek information from impartial and credible resources, through diplomatic channels instead of naming-and-shaming."

Bahrain pointed out that the statement "ignored the up-to-date demarches sent to the missions and embassies of the countries supporting the joint statement," which included information "truly reflecting the human rights developments in Bahrain."

The Swiss delegation made a joint statement on behalf of 33 states which criticized the deteriorating human rights situation in Bahrain, calling on the Government of Bahrain to open "an inclusive and national dialogue" to put an end to the crisis that erupted in the country 5 years ago.
