Lambrinidis Stresses the Importance of Releasing Activists

Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): The European Union Special Representative for Human Rights, Stavros Lambrinidis, stated that during his visit to Bahrain, he stressed the importance of releasing political prisoners and civil activists.
Lambrinidis tweeted on Friday, May 29, 2015, that releasing the political and civil activists will constitute national reconciliation grounds.
Lambrinidis visited Bahrain on May 25, 2015 in what he described as a human rights visit during which he met with a political and human rights opposition delegation, the Ministers of Justice and Interior, members of the Bahraini Parliament, the Supreme Judicial Council and the Ombudsman Secretariat.
In Bahrain stressed importance of releasing civil/political activists on humanitarian, HRights, nat'l reconciliation grounds.
