EU Special Representative for Human Rights Stavros Lambrinidis Visits Bahrain

Bahrain Mirror: The European Union special representative for human rights, Stavros Lambrinidis, said he is "in Bahrain on second human rights visit since 2013."
Lambrinidis tweeted on Monday, May 25, 2015 that "he will meet with the government, Justice and Human Rights institutions, parliament, political societies and civil society."

It is noteworthy that the EU special representative for human rights has already criticized the Bahraini government for arresting, the president of Bahrain Center for Human Rights, prominent human rights defender, Nabeel Rajab. He considered that the measures taken against Rajab, "threaten the national reconciliation".
