The king of Bahrain issued royal order appointing Daij bin Salman as Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Vice Chairman. He also issued two decrees appointing and transferring directors at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning.

Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minster, issued edicts appointing 15 directors at 7 government institutions.

Akhbar Al-Khaleej newspaper said that the websites of a number of ministries and government agencies have not been updated for many years, and the last data shown on their websites was between 2014 and 2017.

MP Ahmed Al-Sallom revealed that the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications' revenues reach 50 million Dinar for every fiscal year, 50% of them are obtained from passengers' fees.
