The Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society confirmed that it "disowns any person or party in contact with individuals, parties or institutions of the Zionist Entity."

Bahrain scholars said that "the normalizing traitors who conspire with the enemy of God and the nation, are not from us and we are not one of them. We disown them."

The Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Bahrain's largest opposition society, said on Sunday (September 13, 2020) that the Bahraini regime uses intimidation and threats to force some institutions to support its normalization agreement with the Zionist entity

The Progressive Democratic Tribune declared its opposing position to all forms of normalization with the Zionist entity and considered normalization between Bahrain and the Israeli entity as a withdrawal from Bahrain's previous positions of support for the Palestinian people.

Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim commented on Bahrain normalization with the Israeli enemy saying that "Normalization is a misfortune and a harbinger of evil spread over the religion and the nation," adding that "It will fall when the people's will, power and governance are activated."

Three Bahraini human rights organizations, namely BFHR, GIDHR, and SALAM DHR, said that the declaration of normalization between Bahrain and the Israeli occupation entity is the most dangerous decision in the course of ending political rights in Bahrain.

Ismail Radwan, a senior member of Hamas, said that Bahraini normalization with Israel is a crime and a stab in the back of Palestinian people.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh praised on Saturday (September 12, 2020) the free Bahraini voices opposing the normalization deal with the Israeli occupation, adding that he is confident that Palestine and its just cause remain in the hearts of all the Arab and Islamic peoples and all the free peoples of the world.

Al-Wefaq Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Hussein Al-Daihi addressed the Palestinian people saying "We say to the dear Palestinian people that the sons of Bahrain can't be a tool in executing the normalization crime and its project.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatib Zadeh condemned Bahrain's decision to normalize relations with Israel, describing the move as disgraceful and a betrayal of the Palestinian people, considering that it makes the rulers of the Gulf kingdom "partners in the crimes of the Zionist regime."

"The Palestinian leadership strongly rejects and condemns the American-Bahraini-Israeli tripartite declaration on the normalization of relations between the occupying state of Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain," the Palestinian Authority said in a statement.

Commenting on the normalization agreement between the Bahraini regime and Israerl, managing Director of AJ+ Channels, Dima Khatib, said that "Bahraini people are totally innocent from the agreement of shame".

Saeb Erekat, secretary general of the PLO Executive Committee, announced recalling the Palestinian ambassador to Manama, based on President Mahmoud Abbas directives.

Member of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hanan Ashrawi, greeted on Friday (September 11, 2020) the Bahrainis who stood against normalization.

Chief of the Strategic Security Agency, head of Royal Guard and King's son, Nasser bin Hamad, announced via his official Instagram account that he supports his father's decision in establishing ties with the Israeli entity and normalizing relations with it.

Bahrain has agreed to allow regular flights between Israel and the UAE to pass through its airspace.

Al-Mayadeen Channel quoted diplomatic sources as saying that Bahrain objected to a Palestinian request to put the clause of rejecting normalization on the sidelines of the Arab League agenda. It even threatened Palestine that it would put a clause on its part to support normalization and encourage the "Deal of the Century".

The Palestinian Hamas Movement issued a statement on Friday (June 28, 2019) in which it denounced the remarks made by Bahraini foreign minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and dubbed them "irresponsible".
