An electrical short circuit caused a fire in the vehicle of former Al-Wefaq Bloc MP Khalil Al-Marzouq on Sunday in the village of Jeblat Habshi in Bahrain.

Security authorities concluded the investigation with opposition leader and Assistant Secretary General of the Al-Wefaq Society, Khalil Al-Marzouq, and he was left to leave the police station. Until now, it is still not clear what the nature of charges against him were.

Bahrain Mirror: The Political Assistant to the Secretary General of Al-Wefaq Sheikh Ali, Khalil Al-Marzouq, declared that the political solution that the opposition factions proposed in the Manama Document cannot be broken down, stressing that the option of a peaceful approach is strategic.
