Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Society Against Normalization with Zionist Enemy expressed its deep regret regarding canceling a seminar that reflects the opinion of Gulf street, stressing that these decision are in contradiction with the constitution and harms the Bahraini Kingdom.
The society added in a statement "The Bahraini constitution has forced citizens to protect their country's borders. Community thoughts and awareness are one of the boarders that must be protected and preserved in the face of the fierce Zionist attack that aims at occupying the Arab thought and normalizing the cultural front to accept normalization and establish a culture of surrender and defeat."
"These decisions deepen the fears felt by the vast majority of the Arab people who reject normalization, warning that resisting normalization with the Zionist enemy will become swimming against the current, contrary to the official statements of the Bahraini government which confirm that it adheres to the principled position on the Palestinian issue."
The Bahrain Society reiterated its call for "continuing anti-normalization movement in the Arabian Gulf, deepening the debate and holding events with the aim of protecting the Arabian Gulf and the cultural front from Zionist incursions."
The cancelled seminar was organized by the Bahrain Democratic Youth Society in cooperation with Bahraini Society Against Normalization with Zionist Enemy. The seminar hosted several personalities from Palestine and the Gulf states: Marwan Abdulal, leader in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Omani activist Mohammed Al-Shahri, Kuwaiti academic Fahd Al-Mutairi, Saudi researcher Sultan Al-Amar, and Bahraini journalist Radi Al-Mousawi
