Al-Wefaq Calls to Save Lives of Dozens of Sick Prisoners of Conscience in Bahrain

Bahrain Mirror: The Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, largest opposition country, called for the necessity to work to save lives of dozens of prisoners of conscience who are suffering from pressuring diseases and are prevented from receiving the necessary treatment in Bahraini regime prisons.

Al-Wefaq demanded in a statement on Friday (January 17, 2020) to release all prisoners of conscience who are suffering from illnesses and health conditions, stressing that they were illegally arrested being prisoners of conscience, in addition that their health conditions require their release.

The society stressed the need for an action by all international, human rights, humanitarian and medical institutions to save the lives of sick prisoners of conscience in the Bahraini regime prisons before it is too late.
