One-Year Prison Term Handed down to 2 Defendants Accused of Setting fire to Parliamentary Candidate Tent during 2018 Elections in Damistan

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's First High Criminal Court commuted a verdict against two defendants, accused of setting fire to a parliamentary candidate tent during 2018 elections in Damistan, from 5 to 1 year in prison and replaced their sentence by working in the service of community with their consent.

The prosecution charged them that on November 22, 2018, they deliberately set fire to the mentioned movables owned by the candidate, noting that the fire endangered people's lives and money.
