Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fifth High Criminal Court presided over by judge Ibrahim Al-Zayed with the membership of judge Wajih Al-Shaer and Yousif Bu Hardan as a secretariat adjourned the case of prominent human rights defender Nabeel Rajab to September 11 for pleading.

The authorities accuse Nabeel Rajab of publishing tweets including rumors and lies that insult statutory institutions represented by the Ministry of Interior and its affiliated security institutions. Rajab accused the institutions of torturing and humiliating prisoners, preventing them from education and maltreating them. He also posted tweets that are considered rumors and false news about the military operations carried out by Bahrain within the Saudi-led military coalition against Yemen.
