Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today held a meeting with the Qatari Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at the Amiri Diwan. They both reviewed the fraternal bilateral relations and ways to bolster them in a way that broadens areas of joint cooperation and meets the aspirations of the two brotherly countries.

The Bahraini Premier and the Amir of Qatar agreed on the importance of accelerating the pace of cooperation and coordination between the two countries in various fields, stressing that the way is paved for broadening bilateral cooperation, given the distinguished solid relations between the two countries.

On his part, Bahraini Crown Prince, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met today the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at Diwan Al Ausrah in Bayan Palace as part of an official visit to Kuwait. Both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral collaboration across a wide range of areas, including in trade, investment and development.

Bahrain seeks more financial support from its Gulf neighbors, to confront pressures it's subjected to due to its political crisis, and the decrease in oil prices.

Gulf countries had announced a program to support Bahrain with $10 billion in 2011. While the UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia are committed to paying their shares in this program, Qatar has abstained from taking part in this financial support program.
