Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court sentenced on Thursday (November 24, 2016) the former MP Osama Al-Tamimi to one month in prison, putting the verdict into force immediately.
Al-Tamimi is accused of mocking and insulting a public employee (policeman) during performing his job
In October 2014, Al-Tamimi headed to Khawla Secondary Girls School (headquarters of the Supervisory Committee for the parliamentary elections in capital governorate) and he was charged with insulting a public employee (security man) before he was suspended to one week. Al-Tamimi, however, said he was mistreated by security men.
