Bahrain Mirror: A member of parliament participating in the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) conference, currently being held in Manama, mocked Bahrain's representative to the conference, Shura Council First Deputy Chairman, Jamal Fakhro, for teaching parliamentarians "the principles of dialogue."
The MP's ridicule came over Fakhro's reaction to raising the issue of detainee Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja and demanding Bahrain to release him, and reminding that his imprisonment is arbitrary according to the United Nations
In his intervention during the conference, Fakhro appeared angry with the MP and called on him to "learn how to respect each other and promote peaceful coexistence," urging what he called "some participating countries to "stop harming parliamentary relations."
