Bahrain Mirror: The "Intelligence Online" website, specialized in security affairs, revealed that Bahrain has embarked on a major reform process for its security apparatus and the development of its technological capabilities to enhance close cooperation with Israel.

It said in its report published on Thursday, January 27, 2022, that Bahrain is determined to strengthen the technological capabilities of its security services and strengthen its cooperation with Israel, explaining that Bahrain's Strategic Security Agency is now dealing directly with Israeli intelligence services.

"The reforms of Bahrain's security services mainly include reorganizing and enhancing technological capabilities, under which Mossad trains Bahraini officers to deal with advanced technology," he said.

"Tel Aviv" will provide Bahrain with satellites, anti-drone systems, and Hermes drones, designed for tactical missions from the Israeli company Elbit Systems.

The French report was published days after a telephone conversation (January 12, 2022) by Bahraini Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa with his Israeli counterpart Omer Barlev.

This Bahrain-Israel cooperation is not the first of its kind since the signing of the Normalization of Relations Agreement on September 15, 2020, when Tel Aviv has already agreed to provide Bahrain with anti-drone systems and Hermes drones designed for tactical missions.
