Bahrain Mirror: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh responded to Bahrain's announcement that it had arrested an armed cell in Bahrain and that Iran was the source of these alleged weapons.
Khatibzadeh said on Wednesday (November 24, 2021) "We strongly deny any allegations by Bahraini government officials on the discovery of weapons and explosives linked to Iran."
"Such false allegations by Bahraini officials (come) in conjunction with the Manama dialogue, which has become a platform against Iran and shows Bahrain's lack of understanding of regional issues," he added.
"The Bahraini government preferred to communicate with the illegal Zionist regime over communicating with its people and refused to meet their civil demands."
He concluded saying that the Bahraini government cannot cover up its internal and external problems with such false accusations.
